Spring in the Berkshires

I was a city kid and I don't think I ever considered what the woods looked like when there weren't a whole lot of leaves, but it wasn't winter anymore.

The daisies are leading the charge, but the ferns aren't too far behind.

This looks like a creature.

I loved the contrasting colors that looked like spring and autumn were having a spat.

I am uncertain as to whether the plant had bells, or grapes had been turned into bells.

Because it was PRETTY!!!!

But this is the tree who will lead you out of the wilderness!

But she may change her mind....

These flowers are sure that if they just flap their petals hard enough, they can lift this branch into flight!

You don't understand what happened!  The preacher was talking about how all the people who don't follow the Lord's true voice are going straight to hell, and those three women were listening, nodding and judging others, certain of their own righteousness.  And somebody felt they all needed to be taught a lesson about pride.

Forgotten Christmas cards are like the velveteen rabbit;  if you just leave them in the cupboard, eventually they become real wishes and go on a quest to find someone for whom to grant them.  At least, that's what these berries told me.

I think this tree wanted to be in a noir film, perhaps the young maiden who is actually the killer.
Perhaps this is what happened to Carmen Sternwood, from The Big Sleep.
