The beginning

I went on a tour to Tuscany in November. We stayed in Monticatini and there was a very pretty church nearby where I was staying.

Here's a view of Monticatini from the balcony of our hotel:

I love food, and I love going to outdoor markets:

Grotto Giusti

The Grotto Giusti was lovely.

San Genovesi

We had lunch in San Genovesi.

Lucca

Lucca was a walled city, but for those of us who grew up in the 80s, it was not solely on the second floor. (Thank you, Suzanne Vega.)

The churches in Lucca had some interesting designs.

I really liked this cat in Lucca.

Puccini worked in Lucca. Here's a statue.

Pisa's Field of Miracles

The Tower of Pisa is lovely:

I liked this fountain, too.
