February Snow in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

What a memory of the snow storm looks like.

Is this a hibernating tree

like these bushes look like they're sleeping?

When the winter wipes the orchard bare the light makes a difference.

Can you tell how old the snow is by counting the layers?

These geese aren't going anywhere.

February Snow!!

The snow after Groundhog Day wasn't as impressive as last weekend's snow, but it still created some pretty pictures.

The view when you look up from my street,

is more delicate than the view to the left.

This is (probably) what Grand Army Plaza would have looked like in 1866.

Or perhaps like this

Walking a dog on a snowy afternoon.

Children on Brooklyn's Great Lawn.

It's February 2021 and the last time I saw this many people together was November 6th, 2020.

Snow Day!!!

The first of February, 2021, NYC (and most of New England) had a big snow storm.

This bit of snow fell hard against the brick, and clearly the brick made an impression on it.

A view of Grand Army Plaza with its arch.

I think a Parks' Department created snow pile.
