Trees in New Orleans

The trees in New Orleans have a little bit of attitude.  I think there's something about the humidity that makes them think they have a right to take back the city.

The street's lush nature is just incredible.

Check out the roots shoving the pavement up OUT OF THE WAY!!!

And this tree just looked weird;  it kind of reminded me of a sphinx cat.

Trees Coping with Autumn

I just thought this was an interesting metaphor for....something.

It's am amputated tree, but it's growing new branches. 

The roots have a face to them.
