We'll Always Have....

I know, I Know. It's corny, but I had an odd compulsion to say it....

That's a view of the Champs-Elysee from the top of the Eiffel Tower.












And there's a picture of the Arc De Triumph from the Eiffel Tower.







I got tired of waiting on line for an elevator at the Eiffel Tower, so we walked down from the second level. You can see the second level on this picture.


Musee Du Louvre

Wouldn't you prefer this to be the cafe where you work?



Or be able to look at this cat whenever you want?



And to give you a sense of the futility of it all, there's me, standing about 30 feet from the camera, in the middle of ONE WING of the Louvre.

Pere Lachaise

We stayed in the 20th arrondissement, just a few blocks from the Pere Lachaise. The Pere Lachaise is the largest cemetery in Paris and has been "open" for over 200 years. Oscar Wilde was buried there:


I wasn't sure whose grave this was, but I thought the cat was a nice touch:

Musee d'Orsay

The Musee D'Orsay was once a train station, and you can tell from the top floor. But it was a train station in a country that knew how to build train stations and it's a lovely museum.
