Brooklyn Botanic Garden Summer, 2020

It's been eleven years since I've posted pictures from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Rose Garden.

I predict this rose bush, The Queen of Musks, will grow around the cord marking where the bush and pathway are.  Roses do not care for boundaries.

The Athena Rose,

a close up,

or an excuse to remember the Portland Protester.

I don't know what this is.  It looks like it might be berries growing, but I've never seen berries grow on something that looks so plastic.

The trees got a pretty bad beating during the storm last week.

A little local history in the renovated part of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

Pumpkins growing in the back of the garden.
