Connecticut Scenery

Kent Falls State Park has a lovely waterfall, of course.





but most of northwest Connecticut is very beautiful.

Clouds spend too much time looking at their own reflections.




Bunnies just run around,










while trees frame beautiful vistas.

Grandma's Birthday Party

We have a few June birthdays in my family, so we threw a party.

Here's my grandmother on her 90th birthday, with Grandpa and David (cousin Rachael's boyfriend).

Connecticut Trip Litchfield

We went to the Litchfield Hills area of Connecticut (the northwest corner of the state)


Richard got to meet Betty Boop.



And we saw some old buildings in Litchfield.

The daughter of the Holy Man who performed the ceremony wanted to be next to her mother, and looked so sweet that I couldn't help but take a picture.

We'll Always Have....

I know, I Know. It's corny, but I had an odd compulsion to say it....

That's a view of the Champs-Elysee from the top of the Eiffel Tower.












And there's a picture of the Arc De Triumph from the Eiffel Tower.







I got tired of waiting on line for an elevator at the Eiffel Tower, so we walked down from the second level. You can see the second level on this picture.

Musee Du Louvre

Wouldn't you prefer this to be the cafe where you work?



Or be able to look at this cat whenever you want?



And to give you a sense of the futility of it all, there's me, standing about 30 feet from the camera, in the middle of ONE WING of the Louvre.

Pere Lachaise

We stayed in the 20th arrondissement, just a few blocks from the Pere Lachaise. The Pere Lachaise is the largest cemetery in Paris and has been "open" for over 200 years. Oscar Wilde was buried there:
