I think this tree just threw its blossoms away when they didn't grow quickly enough.

February Snow!!

 The snow after Groundhog Day wasn't as impressive as last weekend's snow, but it still created some pretty pictures.

 The view when you look up from my street,

is more delicate than the view to the left.

It's February 2021 and the last time I saw this many people together was November 6th, 2020.

Snow Day!!!

 The first of February, 2021, NYC (and most of New England) had a big snow storm.  

This bit of snow fell hard against the brick, and clearly the brick made an impression on it.

I think a Parks' Department created snow pile.

Later in November

 Trees taking over the wall.

The storms have caused havoc, but at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, nature is fighting back.

I'm not sure what sort of fungi this is, but I prefer to think this Black Cherry tree is wearing a boa.

I think this is a wizened old tree that is waiting for winter.

Is beauty constant as the world whips by?

November is for late bloomers.

 

 

Sometimes you see the rain coming...

sometimes the branches catch you

This rose couldn't watch the other one fall.

 

 

but this one was completely broken up over it.
