Summer in Quebec

We went to Quebec in June.

A butterfly greeted us.

There were waterfalls.

I took a lot of pictures of trees with their roots (I think this one is a little wild, that's why it's fenced in).

There are giants in Canada that just knock down the trees.  Here's my evidence.

I also like armies of trees.

Pictures from Ecuador (and the Galapagos Islands)

Hummingbirds caught in the moment.

A bird considering its next move.

 A bird in motion.

Camouflage is the name of the game.

Poison trees seen from a distance.

A house on one of the Galapagos Islands.  It has a story, but I fear to tell it.

A cove created by the surf (because that's what a surf does),

and here's a closer view.

 A lost salamander.

A salamander going its own way.

A iguana experiments with camouflage

but gives up on camouflage

February at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

I just went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and took these pictures.

The geese are returning to Brooklyn.  They were really loud about it.

Did I mention that they were really loud?  They were really loud.
